Larkin produced “Sweet Home Family Soap” (sold by street vendors), “Boraxine“ (for cleaning), “Oatmeal Toilet Soap”, “Jet Harness Soap”, and “Glycerine”. J.D. Larkin & Co. created the “Larkin Idea”, replacing traditional salespeople and their commissions with direct marketing and premiums. Darwin Martin was an employee, and Frank Lloyd Wright designed the Larkin Administration Building (1906-1950)
